Sorry its been a while since I’ve updated the new happenings at the Garden of Beaden. Im excited to share with you a new old technique of Mosaic Bead work. My friend Dara taught the class over 10 years ago, we did it for a short time but did not explore it the way we should have! Amy Lau Power Necklace
After watching the Netflix series “Beef” I felt very inspired to recreate the necklace that she wore in every scene. Then naming it the “Amy Lau Power Necklace, or just Amy Lau Necklace. Her character always dressed very stylish!!! As a women trying to work through alot of issues, at times its hard to watch. I do believe there is going to be a season 2, I for one cant wait.
In 1996 The movie that inspired jewelry was “Tin Cup”. Rene Russo wore a pearl necklace in every scene. Then being the Tin Cup necklace, I made quite a few. I still have mine, wore it just the other day.
Uncovering some treasures
I have to say I get so much happiness from cleaning my craft room. For starters, I uncover alot of great stuff. the total motivation was the new shelf my sister gave me! I love it! Then putting things in their proper place makes for a more pleasant time when Im looking for something!! Makes it so I don’t find myself buying multiples of an item because I cant find it!!! Now for the other side of the room lol
